Graduation/Celebration Dinner and recognition.

Notes on the curriculum experience:

  • Each participant should have a 3-ring binder, with paper, for notes, journaling and the retention of seminar handouts.

  • Each chapter of each book should have a journal entry of lessons learned and personal application of the material. The journal entry could be copied and turned in to a manager for review and performance goal setting.

  • Movies may be watched individually or in a group setting. A journal entry should again be recorded for personal application of new lesson learned.

  • Application lessons from the training days should be incorporated into the weekly/monthly meeting agenda between sessions for review and implementation.

  • The last 20 minutes of each training day will include a time for each participant to review the material presented and note 3 items: As a result of today, what will I stop doing? What will I start doing? What personal behavior changes will I begin tomorrow?

  • The celebration dinner should be special and memorable. A certificate of completion and meaningful token gift should be presented to each person who fulfilled the requirements for graduation.

  • Steve Walrath is available for individual coaching, teaching or group facilitation discussion on any of the presented topics between training days.

  • Effectiveness of the curriculum is dependent on support, participation and accountability between all levels of management and departments. The principles taught and applied only make a positive impact when the information becomes personal and practical to each individual.

  • This is meant to be a fun and dynamic experience. Based on the personality of your staff, other suggestions and/or ideas of how to bring a fresh learning experience to the topics and theme days is welcomed.
